Frequently Asked Questions
Water Quality for Dilution
Hard water is not recommended. For optimal performance, use deionized or reverse osmosis water. If tap water must be used, pretreatment with ZERUST®/EXCOR® AxxaVis™ HST-10 (0.2–1.5%) is advised before diluting Axxatec™ 80C.
Compatibility with Other Products
While ZERUST® offers a complete line of compatible cleaning products, compatibility testing is required before mixing with non-ZERUST® cleaners or VCI packaging materials.
Application Methods
Spraying, brushing, or dipping all provide equivalent corrosion protection. Dipping is particularly recommended for small parts with complex geometries or internal surfaces that are difficult to reach by other methods.
